Introducing the long awaited new vintage of our Members favourite wine – Pinot Syrah or as we affectionately call it “Le Fruit Defendu” [the forbidden fruit].

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of our highly anticipated 2024 Pinot Syrah, the first vintage made with Pinot Noir from our 2022 vineyard planting. Many of you will remember our previous Pinot Syrah vintages from 2018 and 2019, which became Wine Club favourites and sold out quickly.

The 2024 release is a beautiful blend, offering the elegance of Pinot Noir combined with the bold, spicy notes of Syrah. With 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Syrah, this vintage showcases a big, bright nose of violet petals, dark cherry, and a hint of strawberry flower and anise. Its structured tannins and savoury finish offer a perfect balance of grace and power—a true reflection of modern Hunter Valley winemaking.

Handpicked from our Broke Fordwich vineyard, this wine has been carefully aged for six months in 500L French oak barrels, resulting in a harmonious, medium-bodied wine that is perfect for cellaring or enjoying now.
