Located at the property’s entrance, the Talits Estate Cellar Door combines contemporary style with the old-world charm of our French-inspired estate.

Since its opening in 2020, the Cellar Door invites guests to enjoy our latest wine selections. In 2021, we were proud finalists in the Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Association’s “Cellar Door of The Year” Awards.

Our tastings, which include ~8 wines such as our popular Rosé (both still and sparkling), Blanc de Blancs, Chardonnay, Semillon, Sangiovese Merlot, Estate Merlot, and Pinot Syrah, are $15 per person. Wine Club Member tastings are complimentary.

Guests can also purchase wine by the glass or bottle, or enjoy a draught schooner of our craft beer, “Broke Brewing,” while overlooking our scenic lake, fountain, and wildlife.

Our cheese and charcuterie are locally sourced from Binnorie Dairy in Lovedale and Hungerford Meat Co in Branxton. Enjoy our homemade cakes, perfect with a barista-prepared coffee.

While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend booking your tasting in advance to ensure availability.

We are dog friendly! Please feel free to bring your furry friend along but please make sure they’re on their best behaviour

Open Friday to Sunday and Public Holidays, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

The Cellar Door is available for private events. For more details, please contact events@talitsestate.com.au.

Testimonials

“Had the most lovely weekend at Talits, beautiful wine and great service! Be sure to get a cheeseboard which was so beautifully put together and went so well with the new Rosè!”

Anna

“Our weekend in the Hunter was made complete by our visit to the beautiful Talits Estate! There is nothing quite like it in the area. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, wines are varied (with something to please all palettes) and the cellar door setting is welcoming and homely. The cheese and charcuterie boards compliment the wines perfectly and are generous serves. Highly recommend – we will be back!”

Lucille
