Talits Estate – Terms & Conditions

1. Wine Club Membership

Personalized wine selection based on your preferences, or choose from set packs
2 Cases of 6 or 12 bottles every 6 months
20% discount on all Talits Estate wines in the Cellar, Online, and in Wine Club Cases

Wine Club Terms & Conditions
Members commit to receiving 2 wine tasting packs per annum
Membership is free with a minimum commitment of 12 months
Tasting pack costs are determined by individual member bottle prices and vary by pack
Credit card processing occurs for the first pack and once every 6 months thereafter, in correlation with wine shipments
Members receive a pre-delivery email two weeks prior to delivery, including cut-off dates for changes and notification of when the card will be charged and wine shipped
Cancellation after the minimum membership period requires email notification to Talits Estate
Cancellation requests must be received at least 7 days prior to the wine club dispatch close-off date
Members must advise Talits Estate via email or online account login regarding any changes to membership profile (address, credit card, email, phone number, pack preferences)
Members who move or change delivery address without informing Talits Estate may be subject to additional shipping charges or be liable for the cost of lost wine
Wine shipping charges apply per carton based on shipping postcode; international orders cannot currently be facilitated
Delivery available to residential or commercial addresses only (no PO boxes)

2. Booking Information
A 2-night minimum stay is required unless otherwise approved.
A 3-night minimum stay applies for long weekends, Christmas, and New Year bookings.
100% payment is required upon booking to secure your reservation.
A refundable security bond of AUD $1,000 is required at least 7 days prior to your stay, covering incidental charges, damages, or breaches of these Terms & Conditions.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited without prior written approval. Unauthorized events may result in immediate booking cancellation, eviction, and additional fees.

2.2 House Rules
General Rules
No smoking inside or outside the property. Evidence of smoking will result in a 100% security deposit penalty and cleaning fee.
Children must be supervised at all times, especially near unfenced dams and pool.
No pets unless approved in writing (additional charges may apply).
No outdoor fires. Indoor fireplace use permitted only between April 1 and September 30, with firewood provided.
Noise and Quiet Hours
Noise must be kept to a minimum.
All music must end by 10:30 PM to respect our neighbors.

Pool Safety
No glassware permitted near the pool.
Glass found in this area will result in full security deposit forfeiture and additional costs.

Property Care
Decorations: No attachments using wire, nails, or screws. Prohibited items include rice, confetti, balloons, glitter, pyrotechnics, and sparklers.
Illegal substances are strictly prohibited, resulting in immediate eviction and security deposit forfeiture.
Furniture: Do not move furniture without prior approval. A minimum $100 administration fee applies if furniture is rearranged.
Rubbish disposal: All rubbish must be placed in bins provided. Excess rubbish removal costs (tip fees and disposal) and a $100 administration fee will be charged.

3. Property Access

Early Check-In & Late Check-Out
Available only upon prior arrangement with Talits Estate.
Property must be vacated by 11:00 AM unless arranged in writing.
Late Departure Fees
Late Checkout Fee: $150 per hour (or part thereof) past 10:00 AM
Administration Fee: Additional $50 per hour
Extended Late Checkout: Past 1:00 PM incurs full nightly rate of $1,700
All fees will be deducted from security deposit or charged to provided payment method.

4. Guest Responsibilities
Key Return: All keys must be returned to the key locker; locker code must be scrambled after use.
Property Care: Ensure all appliances and lights are turned off, and windows/doors secured.
Behavior: Avoid disruptive behavior. Do not approach, feed, or interact with animals on the property.
Parking: Vehicles must be parked in designated areas. No parking on lawns or near cellar doors unless approved.

5. Private Functions and Media
Venue Access and Usage
No functions or media use without explicit prior approval.
Access limited to exterior areas unless written consent provided.
Entry to homestead or cellar door prohibited unless authorized.
No moving or rearranging furniture without approval.
Noise and Quiet Hours
Minimal noise levels required.
All music must cease by 10:30 PM.
Decorations and Modifications
No alterations without prior written consent.
Prohibited items: confetti, glitter, balloons, rice, sparklers, pyrotechnics.

Property Care
Preserve property integrity and natural elements.
Avoid disturbing wildlife or vegetation.
Handle equipment carefully to prevent damage.
Properly dispose of all trash and waste.

6. Media Guidelines
Media shooting fee: $1,500 per day (inform in advance for additional days)
No nudity or explicit content (tasteful lingerie and swimwear acceptable)
No promotion of competing vineyards or properties
No negative portrayals of Talits Estate
No unauthorized use of Talits Estate name, likeness, or branding
No explicit promotions of other wine brands without approval
Safety and Conduct
No tampering with lighting fixtures or landscape elements
No hazardous materials
No behavior posing risk to safety or peace

7. Liability and Indemnity
Event Host responsible for conduct of guests, vendors, and crew
Talits Estate not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss
Guests indemnify Talits Estate from claims arising from events

8. Security Deposit
Private functions/media shoots: Refundable deposit of AUD $1,500 required 7 days prior
Breaches may result in deposit forfeiture and additional fees

9. Compliance and Approvals
Guests must comply with staff instructions
Promotional content requires management approval before publication

10. Cancellations
Airbnb
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before arrival
50% refund for cancellations up to 7 days before arrival
Non-refundable for cancellations less than 7 days before arrival
Booking.com & Rentals United
Typically non-refundable unless otherwise stated
No refunds for cancellations or changes
Talits Estate’s Rights
May cancel bookings if group deemed unsuitable or Terms & Conditions violated
Guests may forfeit all amounts paid
Refund Process
Processed within 14 business days of cancellation request
Administration fees and non-refundable bookings excluded

11. Liability and General Indemnity
Talits Estate not responsible for personal injuries, damages, or property loss
Guests responsible for damages during stay
Costs exceeding security deposit will be pursued
Guests indemnify Talits Estate against claims arising from property use

12. Compliance
Guests must adhere to local laws and regulations
No unauthorized access to restricted areas
Antisocial behavior may result in eviction without refund
By booking with Talits Estate or joining the Wine Club, you acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions outlined above.
